¡¡¡¡Yuexiu
Mountain is considered a place of military strategic importance
in Guangzhou. In the late Ming Dynasty and in the early Qing
Dynasty, many artilleries were built here. Due to human and
natural destroy, the famous Western Barbette can no longer be
seen, only some artillery bases left. As the Barbette was a
ring-shape building on the hill, so it¡¯s called the Ring Barbette.
Today, there are three healthy paths here, as well as many other
facilities, such as climbing racks, badminton court and table
tennis tables for the elders to have sports. |
